Thanks! Depending on the setting, I personally would also consider running Into the Odd as-is, but perhaps with a new set of starting packages (so no arcana to start out) and calling for WIL saves much more frequently.
I really need to dig into Into the Odd a bit more. There are a bunch of these games that I think to need to set up running some scenarios with to get more familiar.
It isn’t the same fictional aesthetic but there are potentially some interesting things that could be done with Doom from Black Sword Hack in this area as well
